It takes a lot of dedication to power through that much of anything, but there are devoted fans. There are some master duelists who still keep in touch with the show and with the card game. With all the new series, the game, the plot, and the hair definitely gets more extreme. Most kids grew out of the show, either because they stopped enjoying dubbed anime about card games, or they just thought that there were too many episodes of this show to try and keep up.
